Requirements at a Glance
The short version. Everything exact — ages, holds, mileage and fuel — is set out in full on one page, and we confirm it with you before anything is final.
- Driver's licence
- A valid licence is required for every rental, and for every driver on it. We confirm exactly what we need from you before a booking is final.
- Insurance
- Many personal auto policies extend some cover to a rental, and some credit cards include it as a card benefit. Whether that is enough depends on your policy, so confirm it with your insurer or card issuer.
- Payment and holds
- Accepted payment methods, and whether a hold applies to your booking, are listed with our policies. Nothing about payment is a surprise at handover.
- Younger drivers
- We do rent to younger drivers. The terms that apply to your age group are set out on the requirements page — ask us first rather than finding out at handover.

What is included in the starting daily rate?
We quote the rate for your class and your dates, and you see the terms that apply before you book rather than at a counter with your bags on the floor. What the rate covers and what sits outside it is set out in full on our rental requirements and policies page.
Is there a mileage limit?
Mileage terms are part of the rental agreement and are listed with the rest of our policies. Tell us roughly what you have planned when you book — a week around town and a run out to the coast are not the same trip — and we will confirm what applies before anything is final.
Do you take a deposit or a hold?
Accepted payment methods, and whether a hold applies to your booking, are listed on our rental requirements page. We confirm both with you before a booking is final, so nothing about payment is a surprise at handover.
Can I request a specific vehicle?
You reserve a class rather than a particular car, so what you are guaranteed is the class you booked — the seats, the transmission and the space that class describes. If something specific matters, like a third row or an open bed, tell us when you book and we will tell you what we have.
Can any class be delivered, or do I collect it from you?
Either works. Delivery across the San Antonio area is one of the main reasons people book with us instead of a counter, and that includes San Antonio International Airport. Give us the address, hotel or terminal when you book and we confirm the exact meeting point before your pickup time. If you would rather come to us, that works too.
Can I return the vehicle after hours?
Tell us your return time when you book. Return arrangements are confirmed with you as part of the booking rather than left to work out on the day, and the terms that apply are on our rental requirements page.
I am not sure which class I need. Can you help?
Yes, and it is usually a thirty-second conversation. The quickest way is to tell us the trip rather than the vehicle: how many people, how much luggage or cargo, and how long you need it. That is enough to narrow six classes down to one, and the guide further up this page covers the common cases.
